Afternoon at the park
With the social distancing going on, I have felt compelled to stay near home and find things locally that appeal to me to paint. This one was down down the hill at the local park. I set up around 6 in the evening in my car in the parking lot for the ballfields. The sun was behind a low cloud hanging over the mountains. When it dropped below the cloud it was practically blinding. I tried to get the feel of the glare and the reflections off the buildings and fences from the low sunlight. The park looked abondoned. No one was around.
I've called it Playground Lockdown, 8 x 10.
