Here's another one from a January painting afternoon. The plan was to do a smaller more intimate scene and since we had snow two days earlier I wanted to paint something with the blues and violets and golds of snow in it, rather than just the drab browns and tans of winter foliage. This place next to a pond had tons of rabbit tracks.
