Fields in January
It's been a very dry and warm January so often there hasn't been a lot of snow. This makes for a lot of brown days with not a lot of color except at the beginning and end of each day. I went over to Pella Crossing last week to work on this on a very windy gusty day. I had intended to paint something near the water but was intrigued with the dark gully running across the field and the grasses blowing in the wind. I must admit though, it's a brown painting just like this month has mostly been.
