The Last One
Here's the last one of the paintings from the Boulder Plein Air. This one was done in stifling 90's heat as I huddled under my umbrella trying to do this painting of Haystack Mountain, while being continually barked at by some irate prairie dogs who didn't like me setting up near their holes. I was particularly attracted to all the various colors of the grasses, plants and dirt stripes on this hillside. And no I did not include the barking prairie dogs in the painting.
