So here is a painting from Pella Crossing, done fairly early in the morning. The long morning shadows from the trees were still draped across the fields. And the fields are ever-so-slowly starting to turn more autumn-like in appearance. After a long hot a long summer  the coolness of fall is a welcome relief. Called "Easing in" because fall was just starting to ease its way in on us when I painted this in September.
