Here's a scene from a roadside near Walker Ranch. I parked at the boat unloading area for the lake, and painted from the shady comfort of some big pines across the road as the boaters loaded and unloaded their sailboards and kayaks nearby. There are no yellow aspens yet but the ground foliage is starting to show some fall color. These trees were silhouetted against the blue and white sky on a lovely sunny morning for painting.
