Art Journal

This painting was done during the plein air event at steamboat Springs CO. in late September. I did this painting one early frosty morning at a little fishing spot along the Yampa River. The fog and the colors of the trees coming through the mists were really magical to see. My hands got really though in the process.  At the end of my painting session the sun broke through and the fog faded away.
